RJF Corporate Finance hosted the 2026 CapFive EMEA Regional Conference in Ljubljana, bringing together M&A advisers for three days of collaboration, market insights and new opportunities.

 

Three days of conversations, collaboration and new perspectives marked an important milestone for the international M&A advisory network, as members gathered in Ljubljana from 7 to 9 October 2026.

From 7 to 9 October, RJF Corporate Finance had the pleasure of hosting the 2026 CapFive EMEA Regional Conference in Ljubljana, bringing together members of the network from across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Held under the theme “Adriatic Crossroads: Shaping Tomorrow,” the conference provided an opportunity to exchange market insights, share experiences and explore new opportunities for collaboration across borders. It was also a particularly meaningful gathering, taking place at a defining moment in the network’s evolution from AICA to CapFive.

A new chapter for a trusted network

The conference came at an important time for the network, as the established community of independent M&A and corporate finance advisers officially entered a new chapter under the CapFive name.

While the brand is evolving, the foundations remain the same: trusted relationships, strong local market knowledge and the ability to connect clients with opportunities beyond their home markets.

In an increasingly interconnected business environment, these relationships matter more than ever. For independent advisers, sharing expertise, understanding developments in different markets and working together across borders can make a real difference when supporting business owners and investors through complex transactions.

The Ljubljana meeting offered a chance to put these principles into practice, bringing members together to exchange perspectives, strengthen existing relationships and look ahead to the opportunities that lie ahead.

Ljubljana as the meeting point

We were proud to welcome our fellow CapFive members to Slovenia and introduce them to Ljubljana, a city that combines a rich history with a modern, internationally connected business environment.

As hosts, we wanted the conference to be more than a series of meetings. It was an opportunity to bring people together, encourage open conversations and create space for ideas that can develop into future collaborations.

And, of course, no gathering in Slovenia would be complete without a taste of local hospitality. Between discussions about markets, transactions and the future of the industry, guests had the opportunity to experience a little of what makes Slovenia special.

Looking ahead, together

The conference was a reminder that the strength of an international network lies not only in its reach, but in the relationships between its members. Markets may differ, and every transaction comes with its own challenges, but the opportunity to learn from one another and combine local expertise with an international perspective remains invaluable.

As CapFive continues to grow, these connections will play an important role in developing new opportunities and supporting clients across markets.
